Bollywood talented and super actress Vidya Balan was born 1 January 1978 in India in Ottapalam, Palakkad District, Kerala. Vidya’s father named P. R. Balan is a Vice President of ETC Channel and mother named Saraswathy Balan. She had an elder sister named Priya and who is married to Kedar. And she belongs to a Tamil speakingfamily but she speaks very well Hindi, English and Bengali.

In her early aged she attended St. Anthony Girls’ High School, Chembur, Mumbai. Then attended St. Xavier’s College where she majored in Sociology. And then she went on for study MA at the Mumbai University and there she received her 1st film offer.

And now she becomes one of the top actresses in Bollywood film industry. She acted many hit films like Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dirty Picture etc.
Vidya Balan also received many awards for her extra talented acting.

May 2012 Vidya Balan announced an interview that she was dating with Siddharth Roy Kapur who is the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures.

Vidya Vidya Balan appeared in the Bengali film named Bhalo Theko which released in 2003 and for that film she won the Anandalok Puraskar Best Actress award in Kolkata.

And then Vidya made her Hindi film first appearance with in musical drama named Parineeta. She finally won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and also nominated for Best Actress at the Filmfare Awards ceremony and that film became the 2nd highest grossing film of the year.

In 2007 she acted in a supporting role in film Guru that film became well at the box office.

That year her next release romance Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love but that film was a critical along with commercial failure.

Same year she acted thriller Eklavya: The Royal Guard and the film was flopped but it was selected as to the Oscars for the 80th Academy Awards.

Then released her comedy film Heyy Babyy and that film as a box-office success and earned worldwide gross of 83.68 cores.

And her final release of 2007 was psychological thriller Bhool Bhulaiyaa and her performance was praised Vidya Balan 2nd time nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress category.

In 2008 Vidya acted in a small role in film Halla Bol and the film underperformed at the box-office.

In 2009 Balan acted film Paa and the film was received well by critics along with Balan’s performance and also she won her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress and also Star Screen Award for Best Actress also many awards.

In 2010 Vidya acted another film Ishqiya and Vidya received many Awards for her performance she received Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress along with a 2nd successive Star Screen Award for Best Actress.

In 2011 her 1st release thriller film No One Killed Jessica and the film had a worldwide gross of 49 crore and was also commercial success and also she again she nominated another Filmfare Best Actress category.

And in 2011 released her film named The Dirty Picture and the film was eventually declared a blockbuster and earned a total gross of 117 crore and she won her 1st National Film Award for Best Actress, a 2nd Filmfare Award for Best Actress along with a third consecutive Screen Award for Best Actress and many awards.

In March 2012 Vidya’s Kahaani film released and Kahaani appeared as a major commercial success in the box office with gross of 75 crore.
